I’m a freelance surface pattern designer and artist working from my home studio in Cambridgeshire, England. With more than a decade of experience, working for brands in-house and as a freelancer, I specialise in handcrafted and unique prints and patterns for fashion and lifestyle brands. Most recently, I designed for John Lewis & Partners as part of their Trend, Colour and Print team leading the print and pattern direction for Womenswear ‘Own Brand’ and sub-brand ‘KIN’. 

From expressive, painterly florals to abstract geometrics, I love to create ‘modern originals’ using a mix of traditional and digital techniques. I’m inspired by artisans around the world, unique crafts and natural surroundings. I weave this together with influences from current exhibitions and industry trends to create unique and relevant designs. My designs have been used for fashion, interiors and gifts, and I’m always looking for new and exciting projects.

I’m passionate about working on all parts of the design process - from setting the initial trend direction and concepts; to designing captivating, original prints and patterns that bring designs to life; to supporting you all the way through to the final product.
